Bespoke Design & Manufacture Service

Modify an existing product or create a new one to your own specifications.

The first option is to make some changes to an existing product design from our catalogue. We refer to this as a “tweaked” service, where one of our standard designs just needs modifying.

This could involve changing the dimensions, wheels, or load capacity. Alternatively, you might simply want a different colour finish, or to include a few additional features.

The second option is fully “bespoke” – where you require a completely new product design.

If you already have a bespoke stillage, truck, or trolley design in mind, you can send a sketch, CAD drawing, or written specification, or we can visit your site to look over the proposal.

It depends on the project complexity, but here are a few standard things we're likely to ask:

• What are the dimensions of the items that you wish to carry?
• How many items do you want to be able to move at once?
• How much do these items weigh (average and maximum weight)?
• What sort of environment is the equipment going to be used in (indoors, outdoors, on a smooth floor, between areas with ramps to negotiate, etc.)?
• What spatial constraints are there (e.g., aisle widths, doorways, limited turning space)?
• Is your truck, trolley, stillage, rack, or cage going to be pushed by hand, internally powered, or towed (and if so, what with and at what speed)?
• Are there any special requirements (including steps for access, parts protection to surfaces, specific access requirements, height adjustment, etc.)?
• What is your preferred finish (e.g., specific colours, galvanised, zinc plated)?
• Do you have any specific material requirements for components?

Is there a minimum order requirement for custom products?

Simple answer: no! When we say no job is too big or too small, we mean it – we can make 1 or 1000.

From a single highly customised trolley to a few dozen stillages or a hundred trucks or more, we aim to provide a high-quality service, with realistic timelines, that keeps customers coming back.
